Located right next to the free shuttle around town and the sierra lodge is a great hotel for the price.
Mammoth Lakes hotels have markedly increased their prices since last year and we have stayed at most of them.
The price charged by Sierra Lodge is significantly lower than that charges by similar hotels.
If you're looking for pillow topped mattresses don't stay at the Sierra Lodge, but if you want a good hotel at a great price the Sierra Lodge is definitely a place to consider.
Quiet and well located in downtown Mammoth Lakes, central location.
We found the Sierra Lodge to be more than adequate, clean, good location and nice desk personnel.
It's in a good location with restaurants less than a minutes walk away and only about 10 minutes walk from the new village.
The location is not bad, just a few minutes away by bus to Canyon Lodge which is where we mainly skiied/snowboarded.
It's a Travel Lodge style place in a good location in the town - close enough to walk to a few reasonable restaurants.
If you plan on spending more time in the room you might want to pass because other than a bed and a shower there are no extra comforts.
Staff was great, the employees were friendly and efficient, hot tub was right outside room.
Easy to find, very nice and clean rooms, easy and covered parking, room with microwave, all the things already written in the other reviews.
Our quiet room near the back of the lodge had a small balcony but did not have a view, whereas rooms at the front of the lodge viewed the scenic mountains.
The bed was a little on the cheap side and not incredibly comfortable but we managed to sleep on it.
Nice sheets, the free continental breakfast consisted of coffee.

The continental breakfast is pretty skimpy.
We turned up looking for cheap accommodation, free continental breakfast - bagels.
Right next door to Angel's restaurant which has good food for a good price - got take out there last night.
Hotel staff seemed quite nice and eXCELLENT service.
This hotel was great and the customer service was good.
In addition a good value, for the price wasn't bad and staff were very helpful and friendly.
Their menu is in the Menu magazine that you can get at the front desk.
As you might imagine, I really appreciated the covered parking.
The Mammoth shuttle stops right outside the hotel, very important if your into snowboarding or skiing.
I like the 100's as there are parking stalls on your level.
Friendly Staff, very large room and clean and offers nice enough breakfast in the morning.
$66 got us a huge room - tired but clean and perfectly comfortable.
The rooms are large, comfortable, very clean, and well equipped.
As they serve fresh coffee, sweet rolls, apples, and bagels each morning in the fireside room who cares.
