This trendy Side hotel has a very contemporary design with an eight-story atrium and an underground pool. The modest rooms have windowed wall and a great design, but some felt that the staff was a bit aloof.

Side Hotel is the only design hotel in Hamburg that is rated five-stars. The property is conveniently located in the very heart of the city, perfectly combining luxury and casual amenities to provide you with comfortable stay.

The 11-story building was engineered by well-known architect Matteo Thun and now boasts 178 guest rooms, where contrast between dark colors and light elements as well as calm atmosphere can be found.

The “flying” suite with an unequalled view over Hamburg is located on the 10th or 11th floor.
