This Santa Monica hotel is definitely a favorite with the locals. It has a spectacular beachside location and wonderful rooms. The Sunday brunch is the place to be seen in the area. Some do complain that noisy partiers can be heard through the thin walls and advise you to party here in the atmosphere that cannot be beat but stay somewhere else.

The location on the beach is superb, this hotel has beautiful rooms, especially the ocean view and the staff is professional and Polished, and the service is excellent. The shelf unit that holds the tv etc_ is especially effective and the restaurant One Pico is also quite good.

The location is good for lax, universal, for shopping in Santa Monica and visiting the pier, by far the best hotel we have ever satyed at, the staff is generally nice as well. Rooms are fantastic.

Beach that overlooks is not private, the main restaurant is also closed for renovation.

The restaurants feel like cafeterias and the reception area and lounge are poorly designed, the service is just mediocre I wouldn't write home over.
