Beautiful surroundings, cozy apartment. Such a delight not to have an Eftpos machine onsite and to have to go into town for supplies. Just what I needed, more errands!
Missing hairdryer, no supermarket nearby. How am I expected to dry my wet hair?

This place is just mind-blowing! The location is super, with stunning views and only a short drive to town. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean, with a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. The staff are incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist me with my rental car. The facilities are jaw-dropping, with a kitchenette in the room and a communal kitchen that is impeccably kept. There's even a common area with table tennis and a pool table, plus a shop on-site. The outside area is PERFECT for relaxing and taking in the serene setting. Plus, there's ample car parking available. this place is absolutely fantastic!

We had a lovely romantic escape in this hotel! The room size was perfect and the bed was super comfy, making our stay very cozy. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Plus, the location was great - close to both the ski field and the city center, allowing us to easily explore all that the area had to offer. it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
There were a couple of minor downsides. the water in the shower took a while to heat up, which was a bit inconvenient.

Staff are very helpful and friendly. Room clean and tidy.
The kettle placed in our room is disgusting. The boiling metal is rusted and came out with iron.

We had a fantastic stay at a lodge in the Queenstown area. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our time there. What we really loved was the spacious communal kitchen that was available for all guests to use. It was well-equipped and provided a great option for meals, especially since restaurants in the area can be quite expensive. The lodge also had a great location, particularly for those planning to ski at Coronet Peak. Our room had a comfortable double bed with a heater, and we enjoyed the stunning view of the surrounding mountains from the balcony. it was a wonderful experience.
Couldn't fault it! 😊

The peaceful location of the lodge is one of its standout features. Guests mentioned enjoying the freedom to do whatever they pleased, and the comfortable rooms with all necessary facilities added to the overall experience. One guest specifically mentioned the convenience of the lodge's location in relation to nearby attractions like the NZ Golf Open, making it an ideal place to stay for such events.
Some guests mentioned a lack of attentiveness from the staff, particularly in regards to requests for extra towels and the cleanliness of the rooms.

We stayed at Shotover Lodge for a few nights and had an amazing time. The communal kitchen facilities were top-notch, with plenty of cooking areas and all the amenities you could need. The location, just a short 5k drive outside of Queenstown, was perfect for us. We loved the ample parking and the beautiful surrounding scenery. The rooms were spacious and private, with comfortable beds and a TV. The showers were fantastic, and we appreciated the towel changes. The lounge area with the free pool and electric fireplace was the perfect spot to relax after a day of skiing. The paid wifi was affordable and fast. we had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back.
