Shore Club Hotel Miami Beach - 迈阿密海滩

However, I decided I liked the location and since it was on my company's preferred list, I gave it a whirl.

The hotel is in a great location and the beach is gorgeous, but if you are going to stay in the hotel, be prepared for loud, party people, an absolutely dreadful staff and hotel rooms lacking cleanliness.

I'll start witht he positive: great location, beautiful, original lobby area, the pools are wonderful, the bars have great indoor and outdoor areas.

Car: If you come from the airport, take a taxi and rent the car once you leave miami.

Let me start off by saying that when we first pulled up to the Shore Club in our taxi, I had to look down at my paperwork to double-check we were at the right place.

The floor was a cold concrete grey that encompassed the whole room, shower and bathroom, the matress was hard, the bed cover very light/basically a sheet with a thin blanket between, there was no bath and the balcony was shared.

1- Hotel rooms feel cheap, quality of TV signal was bad, bed mattress was not comfortable, bathroom is dark and looked like prison cell.

After overcoming our "this is sooo not what we were expecting" disappointment about our room, I can say that the bed's were very comfortable and the bathroom was big.

Well I don’t know exactly what, but it was gritty and had you constantly wiping bits off the soles of your feet, this was resolved with strategically placed bath towels which led back to my bed.

Our room was musty, had a large pool of water under the bed (how did that get there?

The prices in the restaurants (breakfast, lunch and dinner) are really high, that's no problem if the food and service are good, but both are terrible!

The bar and restaurant were very overpriced, but I guess that's what you get in South Beach.

In the evening, the place turns into a very trendy scene, with its bar n restaurants.

If you're youngish, you will love the cool bars - one in the Nobu restaurant and the Sky Bar which is not on a high floor as you might think, but on the ground floor with the Sky above you i.

Smack next to the beach and on Collins Ave, surrounded by shops, bars, restaurants and other hotels.

Very bad experience, the only good thing is the staff that is very nice and attentive, especially the concierge and front desk and valets.

Two good things to mention - (1) the beach staff is very nice, the only people in the hotel that actually served with a smile, (2) the waitress in Nobu was extremely professional and gave us great service.

I was surprised by the front office, bell & concierge staff.

The staff at the front desk were so friendly and helpful.

In contrast, if you are staying in the Ocean Front rooms, getting to and from the gym is only a matter of a short elevator ride to the basement – which is a much more discrete path than going through the always-packed waiting area at Nobu.

The restaurants, spa and nightclub/pool area are nice (pricey also), but I wouldn't stay again.

There are only two elevators that take you to the floor, and also used for the kitchen and housekeeping.

The rooms and cool hallways had a nice clean aesthetic that I enjoyed, in keeping with the overall look of the hotel.

The rooms at this hotel were clean and functional although those who don't admire the minimalist approach to design should avoid staying here.

Room was small (not unusual for South Beach), but clean.

Room floors are concrete - which is fine - but they were not clean and you could not walk in bare feet without them getting black.

This is not a criticism as I loved the refreshing clean look to the place but some might not like the concrete floors in the rooms for example.
