The hotel is conveniently located near a train station, making it easy to access. The rooms are traditional Japanese style with comfortable tatami flooring and futon beds provided. The hot springs at the hotel are sourced directly from the springs and offer a relaxing bathing experience. The restaurant serves delicious local Japanese cuisine, although some may find it a bit salty. The hotel also offers a nice view of the nearby Suwako lake and occasional fireworks.
The hotel only offers wifi in the lobby, which may be inconvenient for business travelers who need internet access in their room.

The best part of my stay was definitely the authentic Japanese experience. The tatami flooring throughout the hotel made me feel like I was truly immersed in Japanese culture. I loved how they even had tatami in the elevator! Another great aspect was the hot springs. With four different options, I had plenty of choices for a relaxing soak. The fact that the hotel only used natural hot spring water without any additives was also a big plus. Plus, the location was ideal, offering beautiful views of the nearby lake and even fireworks at night.
There were a few things that I didn't like. The Japanese-style dinner was delicious, but it was a bit too salty for my taste.

The Japanese style of this hotel was amazing. The tatami was very comfortable and the hot springs were a great way to relax. The hotel offered local Japanese cuisine in the restaurant that tasted great. The hotel also offered a nice view from the higher floors and the breakfast was delicious.
The hotel's wifi was only available in the lobby which was inconvenient. There was another hotel between this hotel and the lake so the view wasn't the best.
