Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina - 圣迭戈

We stayed here for Gator by the Bay which is located right outside the hotel, so the location is great.

The location is good if you want to be close to the airport, but I can see how it would be a pain for those hoping to see San Diego.

The location was great - very close to the Airport, staff was very friendly and accommodations were excellent.

We called the concierge for a taxi and were told they had them on call and one would be, well we ended up driving our own vehicle, no taxis were available.

Not only did the noise of the airplanes from the nearby airport wake us up througout the night , but there was also heavy foot traffic outside our door in the busy hallway.

When we finally arrived at out room, the carpet was dirty, not just worn, the bathroom was rusty, vents were missing from the closet doors and there was one bed, although the check in clerk had supposedly booked in two queens.

The room we got on checkin had double sized beds and we requested king size bed and had to pay an extra $50/night for that.

The bathroom toilet flushed with a very loud noise (kind of like the newer toilets on an airplane) - not a big deal until your neighbor flushed there's in the middle of the night and you heard it in your room.

Room: clean, good bed, couch, tv, mini-bar--don't touch it.

There was only 1 bed in the room and we asked the front desk at the West Tower to switch to a room with 2 beds.

We could not afford to eat in their restaurant, and the prices of bar drinks was out of sight in comparison to other area restaurants and bars.

The Marina Tower lobby has a restaurant, sports bar, gift shop, wireless area and lounge.

On the island, there are several restaurants within walking distance---besides the deli next to the hotel, there is the Boathouse restaurant with good prices, and Tom Ham's lighthouse, and Island Prime restaurant.

I ate breakfast one day in the restaurant, $18 for a waffle & OJ - so we went to a denny's on pacific highway (very close) for the rest of the week.

Restaurants: The restaurant at the Bay tower is almost nonexistent.

All of the employees we encountered at the hotel, from the front desk to the concierge to the spa staff to the staff at the main restaurants were exceptionally friendly and offered prompt service.

The employees, all of them from parking attendent to the front desk staff, the maids and waiters and the concierage were friendly, well informed and great at their jobs.

The East Tower does have a different configuration, but has the nicer pool, fitness facilities and restaurants.

The only bad thing I would say about the hotel is that there is no cafe in the West Tower, the pool was freezing and the housekeeping staff needs more training.

The first night I had to hunt for about 10 minutes to find a parking space, and it was about 250 yards from the lobby.

High speed broadband service is free along with wireless access if you bring your laptop.

There is an open wi-fi area overlooking the boats/marina,and several different types of flavored water greeting the arrival of its jogging clients.

The room was super clean and had an awesome view of the harbor.

Very clean, rooms are big with nice view.

I stayed in the east tower and the room was clean, well-maintained, and recently remodeled.

Our room was clean and we had no complaints about the service or our stay.

Although the east tower (the main building in all the photos) has the nicer pool, the west tower was bright, clean and quiet (and has a fine pool and hot tub).
