Sheraton Mirage Resort & Spa Gold Coast

I absolutely loved the location of this property which as the website says is the only 5 star resort located right on the beach.

The location is superb, this hotel /resort is very interesting and the staff the facilities are great.

The location is fantastic and the beach a few steps from the hotel is beautiful and quiet.

It's a shame the Sheraton has not strived for more considering the absolute premier and private location of this resort hotel - afterall, it's all about location, location, location.

Hop on the number 2 bus into Surfers and back ( very cheap ).

Our room was an Oasis room, a refurbished room with a great king bed, and great amenities.

The garden view room has old cane furniture, old tv and old bathroom.

I stayed in an un-renovated room which meant older decor, regular tv (not flatscreen) and a bathroom from what seemed like the early 90's.

It doesnt actually do it justice to call it a room, as it was 2 rooms.

You get a lounge with sofa & dining area, as well as a large bedroom with seating area & a spa bathroom.

Wanted to eat at restaurant at night but all restaurants full.

FOOD: Ate buffet breakfast and dinner - can't say anything bad about it, there was plenty to eat always, at breakfast, pancakes or waffles, fruit, cereals, bacon, eggs, muffins and a chef cooking omelettes to order and so much more.

Staff were nice, the pool bar was great and the service at breakfast was efficient and courteous.

10:00 looking for restaurant but restaurants closed or about to close so no dinner.

Breakfast was included in the rate, and the choice of food and quality was excellent.

The service was amazing - nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the bathroom was well stocked.

Staff were friendly and helpful from front desk to cleaners.

Internet is great, solid in-room movies, pool bar, restuarants, bell, concierge, room service--all work.

Rooms are cleaned when you need them, front desk and concierge will get you anything you want.

The place is gorgeous, there are swans swimming around, the lobby is nice - nicer than Versace, all that has to show is a piano and a view of guests in the pool!

From the lobby to the lounges to the pools to the pool bar, they need to take a look at other 5 star hotels and make some adjustments to keep it from looking so tired.

The food was great and the pool was magnificent.

Cleanliness--Partly because of the lack of the remodel, but the lawns, the rooms, and most of the place doesn't feel that fresh and clean.

The room was spacious and clean, the pool bar was also very good.

The room (lagoon room) was spacious and clean with a nice outdoor terrace area.

The room was dirty when we checked in, someone came to clean it after we complained.
