The more expensive oceanfront rooms are recommended and they have incredible lanais. This resort is romantic and has every amenity you could ever want. The staff is amazing and there's entertainment every night along with free mai tais. Some critics feel that the food is nothing special.

        • Sheraton Kauai is excellent, the staff is extremely helpful and the rooms are beautifully decorated and the bed is unbelievably comfortable.
        • Beach was very clean, the other restaurants on site were great and the hotel was a BIG disappointment.
        • The room furnishings were slightly better in the ocean room vs, breakfast buffett was fine, sunset happy hour was fun, location was great and the beach was one of the more disappointing parts of our stay.

            The snorkeling in the bay was great, this room had a lovely view of the garden/lagoons and the hotel staff were very friendly. The bathroom was also nice and good burger, really, really laid back.

            The interior was very old and pool were always crowded.

            The service is lovely and we really loved the south side of the island, view on the way is worth the trip and you can see some caves, the grounds of the hotel are beautiful and the beach is amazing. A nice inclusion, as Kauai food can be pretty pricey.

            Beach was great, snorkling on the beach was good for us beginners, the balcony had a great view and we saw whales from every day, the room was very well appointed and the welcome box of chocs. The staff were unfailingly kind, hot tub were completely empty then and the breakfast food was nothing spectacular.

            The beach is beautiful and we upgraded to an ocean view and trust me is completely worth. Sheraton Kauai is excellent, the staff is extremely helpful and the rooms are beautifully decorated and the bed is unbelievably comfortable. Free drinks are always good, the pool at The Hyatt is open 24 hours and supposed to be amazing.
