Shangri La Hotel The Marina Cairns - 凱恩斯

Excellent views of the surrounding marina, the hotel has a great location next to the Cairns Marina and the only staff member we found to be efficient.

A great location and good restaurants nearby.

This hotel is in a nice location, next to a boardwalk, where there are about 7 or 8 restaurants.

The hotel is 15 mins away from the airport by Taxi.

It costs around AUD$20 to get to the hotel from the airport.

A really comfortable room with a really comfortable bed, a great bathroom,great service,.

The bathroom was beautiful with a separate shower and bathtub, and the bed was very comfortable.

A toilet and sink could be found in a room apart from the main bathroom which had a sink, bathtub, and shower.

The bedroom had a king sized bed and small television with limited channels.

Also the tv only faced the main bed and could not be arranged to face both as we were in a corner suite (hard to explain).

Most evenings we ate below our room at the waterside restaurants which are fantastic, I can recommend the waterside bar & grill for steaks & ribs and the fish restaurant next door to it.

The hotel had a nice restaurant but we couldn't get in there to eat as it was full but the bar area was stylish and welcoming with great lounge chairs and sofas!

There are plenty of restaurants and bars along the marina to choose from serving a variety of different foods, so not being able to get into the hotel restaurant wasn't a bad thing, as we had a great steak just next door!

The buffet breakfast in the main restaurant was superb enjoyed on the Marina deck.

Great location and the hotel's restaurant has a nice breakfast.

Noisy and not in a good location, the hotel staff seemed friendly and attentive, the concierge service was excellent.

Reception & the concierge went out of their way to help us, in fact all staff were very friendy.

The reception staff are catering for the Chinese market and do not all speak good English and there is no concierge.

Staff service was fantastic and the marina room was great.

I didn't use any of the facilities at the hotel although I did have a peak at the pool and fitness areas - both which looked nice and well-equipped respectively.

Unlike some other reviewers, we were assigned a room not far from the lobby - maybe a 3 minute walk after going up one floor on the elevator.

Pool area was great, with a bar, table tennis, infinity area, spa & kids pool.

Service was excellent, the room was spotless.

The staff are very helpful, the bathroom is also very clean and the food is of good standard.

Our room was spacious and immaculately clean with every service and amenity at your finger tips.

However we preferred to have the larger room and it was otherwise fine, clean and I think freshly painted and carpeted.

The room was really nice, clean and modern.
