The location is great because is close to shopping, the hotel is located in one of best area's of st.
Seven Gables is in a great location, just minutes from anywhere in St.
Thanks to her and her staff, we had a memorable evening in a beautiful, historic location.
The rooms are really comfortable and the service is very friendly all the time, great location too.
I felt like we were celebrating our anniversary in the middle of Penn Station!
The location is superb, parking is easy, the room with a king bed was lovely, and the hotel was quiet.
The rooms are small and appear old fashioned, but they have the modern conveniences we wanted--great beds and linens, very nice shower, Aveda products, HD television.
We were there 5 nights and never had our room or bathroom cleaned once, we had to ask for clean towels and our toiletries were never refilled.
We were ensured that we had a queen bed and non-smoking!
I was pleasantly surprised when I called to book our reservation to find that we could reserve the only room with a Jacuzzi in it (the only one in the hotel at all, according to her, since they only have about 30 rooms) for Saturday August 12th.
There are lots of restaurants and fun shops, and the hotel itself has cozy areas for friends to gather.
The restaurant will not be serving supper until around February 2007, so I can't comment on the service or food.
The breakfast was sparce, but there were fresh orchids in vases in the dining room which was nice.
Save yourself the money and effort: Stay at a Marriott or Sheraton and eat at one of the dozens of restaurants in St.
The quality of the breakfast pastries and fruits was excellent.
Hotel desk staff learned our names, secured reservations for us, provided useful information about places to visit, etc.
Luxury place to stay and delightful staff.
While I’d thought that the valet parking might prove an annoyance, they were efficient about it.
Since all of the other Clayton hotels charge extra for parking, tipping the valets proves to be something of a bargain.
Travelers with disabilities should know that the inn has no elevator; it is a three-story walkup.
Second, the free wireless internet is pathetic as it is extremely slow and constantly loses a connection.
We stay in a lot of hotels on business and this by far was our worst experience with wireless internet.
Helpful staff made this a comfortable and the room was beautiful and clean.
The front desk was extremely helpful and the suite was so clean.
The staff there take great care of me and the rooms are spacious and clean.
Bathroom and sink area were very clean and nice.
Our room was clean and in good repair, but the paint fumes might need a few more days to go away.
