This hotel is a great value for money, offering reasonable prices for such a central location in Nairobi. The staff are friendly and attentive, making sure that the guests are well taken care of. The basic amenities provided in the rooms are sufficient for a comfortable stay. Additionally, the breakfast served in the hotel's dining room is outstanding, with wide-open windows that offer a beautiful view of the city.
No improvements needed, everything was satisfactory.

staff was friendly as usual. great connection to nairobi national museum, it’ s 1 mile away. the hotel was situated really close to the khoja bus stop, just 15 minutes walking distance. i recommend you to eat at big knife doner shawarma, that is set 900 feet away.
Nothing bad to say.

Only the location
No good service. No remote for the TV in spite of ready to give 1000 Kenyan Shillings as they had none. No proper working lifts. Charges 5% on credit card transactions when you want to pay for the hotel bills. Have to pay for water when we have breakfast and very mean mentality.

This hotel is perfectly located in the center of Nairobi City, making it convenient for exploring the city's attractions. The rooms on the lower floors are spacious and offer a great view of Kenyatta Avenue from their wide-open windows. The attention to detail in the rooms is impressive, with clean bathrooms and regular cleaning. The staff provide excellent service, always ready to address any guest needs. The basic amenities provided in the rooms, such as free unlimited wifi, are a bonus.
All was fine, nothing to improve.

Staff were very friendly and helpful (Charles, Annette, Mary Ann to name a few...), and I always felt welcome, safe and well-cared for--something that was important to me as I was a young woman traveling alone in a city I did not know. The rooms are clean, beds comfortable and restaurant quite good. The bar/lounge area is also quite nice--the right combination of people having drinks, business meetings and relaxation. The hotel seems to be full of mostly African business or government workers, and thus feels professional. Wifi in the rooms was quite reliable. It is located right downtown, which is convenient. Many people think of Nairobi as dangerous, but I found that walking alone during the day was not a problem. The front desk advised me not to go out at night alone, but I never felt in danger during the day. On the contrary, that area of Nairobi feels like a lot of young, urban, wealthy professionals out and about. I also was glad to have the taxi desk in the hotel lobby, so I never had to worry about being ripped off by a cab driver or using an unsafe car.
Internet was included with Booked.net, but if I had gone through another travel website, it would have been very expensive. I did find one cockroach in my room, but given that it's a big city in a warm climate, I think this is quite good (even the fanciest hotels in Miami struggle with this!). Service was slow by American/European standards. Ordering even simple chicken and rice in the restaurant took over an hour (and most nights there were only a few people in the restaurant) and even getting the bill could take 20 minutes or more...I'm not sure why. Elevators were a bit questionable--almost got stuck in them at least once a day. It can be noisy at night, given the traffic outside (downtown) and the casino below. Pollution downtown can be pretty overwhelming-- I do not have allergies or asthma, but felt as though I did after walking and riding around downtown for a few days. It ended up being quite far from my meetings at the un and other ngo offices, but I was still glad to be downtown.

* The cost - value ratio of this hotel is not good when you compare it with that of other hotels in Nairobi. * Despite using a creditcard, there had to be payed in advanced. No invoice atthat moment - that will be given when you are checking out. * Using a creditcard means $ 20 extra costs (!!) just because of the use of a creditcard. I think the qualification that creditcards are accepted has to be removed or a warning must be added!! * They use a very strange way of calculating the total costs from dollars (valuta used for creditcard) into Kenyan shilings. On my invoice there where costs charged for 5 nights while I stayed 4 nights. I asked my money back for that one night. That was not possible because I had payed with creditcard - they couldn't pay be back in cash. Can you understand that? I couldn't. I could get a gift voucher to use next time I come. The way the manager treated me was really without respect. After explaining the case to him he said: "Just a minute" and went into the office. He never came back. The receptionist confirmed that he was not coming back. THAT'S ALSO AWAY TO 'SOLVE' YOUR PROBLEMS - JUST WALK AWAY IN THE HOPE THE OTHER GOES TOO. I came back after a few day and spoke to a cashier who really new her business. She explained and we solved the issue.

This hotel is a great value for money, especially considering its location right in the center of Nairobi's bustling business district. The staff are attentive and the basic amenities are well-maintained. I particularly enjoyed the rooms with wide-open windows overlooking the beautiful Kenyatta Avenue.
Everything was okay.
