But the main problem is maybe the location because if you can have some great views, it's located far from Cascais, approximatly 5 kilometers (and not 3 as indicated) and there isn't any complimentary shuttle service.

I'm sure in summer with the outdoor pool and terraces would provide another relaxing location.

The location of the hotel is a little out of the way from the excitement of a city.

Alternatively take a cab, its approx 6 -10 Euros depending upon the time of day.

LOCATION - its approx 4km from the main train station in Cascais, located along the coastal road.

Rooms are nice decorated, beds very good, breakfast perfect, restaurant very good, poolside very nice too but 5 stars?

The bed is fantastic and the food is delicious.

The staff were very helpful in sorting things out and the bed was extremely comfortable as was the bed linen.

We had bed and breakfast at the hotel included and the breakfast was excellent with lots of choice.

Everyone said how well we looked after this holiday which I put down to the comfortable bed and the lovely food.

We didn't eat in the restaurant , chose to stay in the lounge with the comfy couches, great service and cozy fireplace.

Breakfast is average but food in general was the best we experienced in Cascais.

We also tried the restaurant one evening and once again this was excellent.

Both Cascais & Guincho have excellent restaurants, particularly if you enjoy fish and seafood - but please beware as the restaurants in Guincho can be twice as much as those in Cascais for the same standard.

There is a restaurant directly opposite the hotel right on the waters edge and this is well worth a visit - advisable to book especially at weekends.

Staff are on hand to dish out complimentary towels and there is also waiter service poolside.

Loved the location, the service was excellent-'s a beautifully designed hotel and the staff were friendly.

The pool area lovely, enjoyable stay and very nice service at the reception.

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left the service exceeded our expectations and nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff.

The only downside to its location is the fact that the garden and pool area is adjacent to the main road out front.

Nice view from pool, the Senhora da Guia is a very elegant property in front of the ocean and the stuff is extremely kind & helpful.

Pool area was nice and some great small resturants nearby as said before.

The room was spotlessly clean, the pool area lovely and the breakfasts amazing (the fresh fruit and home-made cakes were the best bit).

It was very spacious, clean and had a huge bathroom with a shower big enough for three!
