The hotel was a fabulous base for enjoying a great area, close to mystic and New London ferries and Mystic Aquarium. Booked a room with a tub. Everywhere there was fairly clean. The location was good for our vacation. Also, The American Velvet Mill was 2 miles away.

It had too soft beds, maybe it was bad luck.

Was a nice place for vacation. The hotel was clean, the room was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfy. The property had a particularly good location near the shore. Also, it was 1 mile from an Old Lighthouse museum. We loved the local cuisine in the restaurant.

I recently stayed at Americas Best in Stonington for 4 nights and had a wonderful experience. The hotel may be older, but it was clean and had a very slight musty smell. Despite the soft mattress, I was able to get a good night's sleep. The customer service was fantastic, with Mike at the desk and his older relatives cleaning and welcoming guests. They even remembered us from our previous stay! I also loved the convenient location near food establishments, beaches, and events. The staff were warm and friendly, and the AC worked well. Plus, free parking and clean beds and towels made our stay even better.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.
