Sea View Bal Harbour Hotel

Chose location because of easy access to oceanside and also for proximity to Bal Harbour shops.

The Seaview is in an excellent location, both beautiful and functional.

The location was amazing, upper class, the bal harbour shopping is right across the street, only fancy shops, good for window shopping!

The hotel is equi-distant from FLL and MIA airports so you can fly into either airport.

Trip from Miami airport is less than 30 mins and very easy via I-95 and 922 E.

When we first arrived we had to wait a while to be seen at reception as there was a couple complaining that they didnt have a couble bed, this worried us but our room proved to be great, spacious and clean.

The cabanas were $60/day and had little living rooms, lounge chairs, ceiling fans and a bathroom.

It's spotless, rooms are large and comfortable (bathroom was small but also spotless and completely functional).

The room was large and clean, and the beds were very comfortable.

Our room was very clean and spacious and although bathroom very small was in excellent condition - looked as if it had been newly refitted.

Anyhow I was very pleased with the hotel, the restaurant was clean in fact I ate there 5 times, the food was good in the afternoons, breakfast was ok, and everthing seemed good, and clean to me.

The hotel restaurant and outside tiki bar area had decent, reasonably priced food, but there is no atmosphere.

There's a great snack bar/coffee shop as well as a terrace dining area for lunch.

What makes the service special is the surprisingly wonderful cuisine of the hotel restaurant and the fact that you will never hear anything like "sorry, can't do".

We took breakfast at the hotel - restaurant rather formal and would agree with other posts that it is expensive for what is offered - but so saying there was a good selection.

The staff and service has not been lost amongst the multibillion dollars hi rises.

I was treated VERY VERY well by the staff at the front desk.

Beautiful large room, very clean, grandiose service from all staff members, perfect for children (mine is 15 months old).

The level of service by the staff was awful awful awful.

The hotel looks exacly like it does on the web site, it has a beautiful lobby, nice rooms and a great pool and private beach.

The hotel is on the beach and had a nice pool, as well as a gift shop, fitness center, beauty salon, and wireless service.

Be prepared to pay $18 per day for parking, even if you park yourself, use of pool lounge chairs $10 per person (at the former Sheraton next door this was free) plus tax.

We looked at 4 rooms before deciding on one and they were all spotless, roomy and lovely.

Had 3 rooms booked, all very clean with great views all round.

The rooms are clean and adequate, but really nothing special.

The bathroom, small by today's standards, was also clean and well-fitted.

Clean hotel and rooms, certainly in view of the age.
