The hotel enjoys a unique location in the center of Tiberias, directly on the Sea of Galilee.

This historical boutique hotel complex comprises several sensitively refurbished 19th-century basalt buildings, together with a 'new build' main bedroom block.

Redesigned and planned with the clear intention of preserving the original character and air of the properties, the outcome is a unique harmony of old and new, combining the original architectural style with modern amenities.

The complex has 69 rooms in total.

The service was warm and welcoming, the breakfast was really good.
The main areas are really beautiful, the hotel is in a great location to be able to walk to restaurants and the service is very accomodating.
The front desk / concierge was very helpful, the room rate did include a fabulous and the food was excellent.

Getting there

Traveling from Tel Aviv and Jerusalem:

Take a taxi that will drive along the Coastal Road (Route 2),Tiberias/Kiryat Shemona (Route 77) and Hamovil Junction. At the entrance to Tiberias continues descending in the direction of Lake Galilee (Rehov Menachem Begin and Rehov Alhadif), turning left to Route 90 – the hotel is situated on the northeastern side of the city, opposite the Lido Beach.

Traveling from Haifa:

When traveling from Haifa travel via the Amekim Junction towards Tivon and Ramat Ishai; after the Shomrim Junction (Route 75) at the second set of traffic lights turn left towards Tiberias/Kiryat Shemona (Route 77) and continue as far as Hamovil Junction. Here you turn left and then immediately right (Route 77) as far as the Golani Junction. At Golani Junction you continue straight along Route 77 that descends to Tiberias. At the entrance to Tiberias you continue to descend towards Lake Galilee (Rehov Menachem Begin and Rehov Alhadif), turning left into Route 90 - the hotel is situated on the northeastern side of the city, opposite the Lido Beach (when you see a woden bridge in front of you, you will find the entrance to the hotel on your left side and the parking area for your vehicle).

Very large and airy, amazing views over the garden and sea of galilee, beautiful hotel, lovely building. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are huge. The food is excellent, the pool is fine.

Serene, amazing views and grounds and beautiful accommodaitons, fabulous Scots Hotel, a little building just for contemplation, quite lovely. The staff in particular was very solicitous and warm, the room was fantastic and the service very attentive. The meals were excellent.

Gorgeous building and design, great Hotel/View/Cost. Reception was very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was excellent and the pool was wonderful and felt almost like a private pool.

Such a beautiful hotel deserves better administration, service was excellent and the room was clean and comfortable and there was a coffee maker. The food was delicious and there was a good selection to cater for all tastes.

Itw as a lovely place to come home to after a long day of touring and the water isn't even close the hot. Good thing the pool is soooo nice.
