  Location was excellent and decor was good. The lobby was clean and staff were friendly. The room was pleasant, pillows were heavenly and the breakfast was more than adequate.

  On arriving into the car park I thought 'oh my god' looks rather old, the bar prices were expensive and only one variety of white wine sold by the glass. The manager did replace the broken heater.

  Easy access from all main roads and a relaxing stop after long journey. Hotel rooms are good size, buffet style is great and convenient, the young lady at reception couldnt do enough for the guests all in all very enjoyable. Free Wi-Fi is was a big bonus, the bar is cosy and friendly, a hot drink or use of the toliet. The British staff are helpful, the receptionist clearly didn't care either way and being able to use the leisure facilities.

  Just right for breaking my long drive north without breaking the bank, key issue for me is location as an excellent stop over travelling North/South in Eastern England and a handy drop off place en route to Scotland. Reception are modern, the receptionists are very helpful and clean open spaces in the public rooms. The breakfast is wery good, easy and free access to leisure facilities.

  Let me have breakfast slightly before 7am as I had to be on the road for a long journey and great location to split up a journey. This hotel is well placed for the motorway network, the staff all seem to be very pleasant and excellent size family room. The bar is very modern, hot buffet had run out and availablity of fairly big menu served without fuss. Very good for children to have swimming facilities.

  The location is excellent and this Hotel has the Health club attached. Behind the relatively modern reception is a very drab dreary, the rooms are large and the food is very good. Unfortunately we didnt get enough time to visit the health spa.

  Nice bar area and pleasant atmosphere. A reasonable price, friendly staff and the receptionist was efficient. Our room was fine, breakfast was excellent and the food at our dinner dance was great. Facilities were good.

  The seating in the bar area & the restaurant were quite nice and the hotel was fine for our overnight stay. Reception staff were excellent, talking to the receptionist she filled me in on lots of history was very interesting and check-out was just as efficient as before. Room was clean and breakfast was good.

  Good for overnight stops on the way to somewhere and enjoyable stay. Staff were helpful, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was one of the best I've ever had. Dinner was served on plates that were barely warm, gym were great.

  Good location as base for gateway to the dales for day trips, the hotel does have potential to be a nice place to stay and the staff are excellent. The rooms are huge.

  Drink vastly overpriced and the gym is small.

  Good breakfast - ideally situated for an overnight stop on a long journey, the location of the hotel for both the east or west coast as well as the lake district.

  Window latch broken and the evening food is expensive.
