Overall it was big and modest with a shared bathroom. The location offered was marvellous and good right by the other restaurants and attractions in town and the castle in 5 minutes.

I had wonderful 1-night stay here! It was big size and modest with a shared bathroom, good enough for one night. The location was marvellous and particularly good as for me, just off the hill behind masses of people, Schloss Neuschwanstein and the castle in 5 minutes. I thoroughly enjoyed staying here.

We spent one night at this place with my two kids and enjoyed our stay as the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was fantastic at the foot of the mountain.

Location and the ability to drive up are the best! We even explore the castle and mountains again after the castle is closed and the sunset is so beautiful! Wouldn't have do it if we stay elsewhere. Staff is attentive and helpful. We had pizza and pasta for dinner at 5:30pm and still very welcome. Breakfast spread is normal and there is additional charge for fried eggs. We had an en-suite with a separate sofa sitting area. Bright and clean. It's opposite an office, diagonally facing a spotlight, but bedroom is well designed to block the lights. Welcome fruits are provided.

Faint food and kitchen smell in the room and corridor. Air deodorizer will be useful. 'Closet' is small, max 3 coats. Toilet has no place to put personal staff.

A great one-night hotel that gets you right up to the top of a mountain right next to Germany's most popular tourist attraction. Saves up to 9E per person getting up and down the mountain. The food in a restaurant was high quality, traditional Bavarian food, & reasonably priced. Decent free breakfast. Very friendly and accomodating staff.

No internet or phone except for a pay phone. Could not get ruhreier (scrambled eggs) mit speck (with bacon). Only fried eggs with bacon or ham with scrambled. ?? Did not think this substitution was a big deal.

The hotel was clean. The staff was dedicated and helpful. The room was a nice size. The location was handy for our visit to the Ticket-Center. The restaurant served good and savory meals. The hotel is positioned in a beautiful area.

The rooms are nicely decorated, stylish with a shared bathroom, and a great shower, and have turret windows.

Don't take room with shared bathroom! Try to book with private one.My towel was in yellow-brown something :( dirty. And I didn't like smell of this hotel.
