It's a pretty short walk and the hotel will give you a card to place in your car window so you don't have to pay.
We booked the hotel as we like the location and we were not dissapointed.
The room was not to big and in the 70s style, specially the bathroom.
The only downfall I can find with this hotel is that it was hot in our room and didnt have air conditioning, we couldnt open the windows for fresh air as there was a lot of mosquitoes, they were having a bad season with them.
The rooms really do look out onto the river and you feel like you can jump in or touch the water.
Our room overlooked the border crossing at the beginning of the bridge that separates Switzerland from Germany.
The Windows was just above the River Rhein you had the feeling just to jump into the water.
The breakfast is okay but nothing special.
The staff is helpful but not overly friendly.
Because the hotel is located at the start of a pedestrian-only shopping area, you will have to park in a parking garage about a block and a half away.
The rooms were ample and clean we couldnt have asked for more just for one night!
It is certainly not a luxury hotel but the rooms are clean (a little on the small side), the views are nice and the hotel is well-kept.
