My London travel-agent's screen showed rooms at this hotel at various prices and I chose the cheapest.
Location excellent for theatre and was lovely just to spend an evening in the hotel.
Well located and the location of the hotel was great dead in the middle of the town/city.

The Queen Street location was very good as you are close to the city centre with the waterfront a 10 to 15 minute walk.
Good clean comfortable room in a good location Bus stop for airport bus stops at door and all in all an enjoyable stay.
The airport bus stops right across the road.
The room itself was quite spacious, with the bed in a seperate corner behind folding doors, a kitchenette and fridge and an OK (but unheated) bathroom.
Our room had bathroom, bedroom and lounge area, with some limited kitchen accesories.
So, the room was small, the bed was tiny, and seemed old and tired.
It was clean & decent but we were dissapointed that the TV set was not viewable from the bed.
Free newspaper delivered to your room The room was small , the bedroom being an alcove with a sliding door between it and the rest of the room, which allowed one to sleep and one to watch TV.
Small but clean foyer and restaurant, nice breakfast (only time I used the MLC Cafe).
Breakfast in the cafeteria style restaurant downstairs was a bit on the pricey side.
Breakfast was adequate, bu the restaurant staff very unhelpful.
There did not seem to be any restaurants within easy walking distance but I could be totally wrong there - anyway I ate in the small and busy coffee shop on the ground floor.
It's near the university part of Auckland and there are lots of great restaurants and shops.
The hotel was clean and modern with helpful reception staff.
The price was really good and the staff were very helpful.
Staff went above and beyond at this hotel.
Having earlier emailed staff with a request, I received a prompt reply and my request was met.
The coin laundry was handy ans staff pleasnat and helpful.
The staff was very friendly,and accomodated us.
I had a rental car; the hotel was described as having parking at a fee but it turns out that you stop and unload on a busy street then the valet has to take your car some place off site.
Room adequate and clean, the service at breakfast flutuated between very pleasant.
The room was spotless, breakfast was good.
The kitchenette was great and the room was very clean.
Our room , while on the small size, was a little aged in decor, but was always clean.
