Both times have been excellent and good price too for a European chain hotel.
Much better than UK chain hotels in this price bracket.
Location is good for business as you are behind the ring of Antwerp and the hotel has a wonderful breakfast buffet is included in the room price.
Don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with this hotel but I have stayed in better for less, and if I had been paying the bill I would have not been pleased.
Because Scandic was much better in all meanings:nice entrance, location, staffs, rooms especially,though price is not high at all.
Stayed here twice in June for its location near the Ring Road as a staging post.
The hotel has a very central location and staff are great.
A short walk along a public trailway to Tram #24 stop for easy access to the city centre.
Public transport gets you into the city centre in approx.
Room spacious, bed comfortable, everything clean.
Service is good, clean bed comfortable so nothing to realy complain about and the bar is excellent.
The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the bathrooms have good showers.
The premises was well looked after, air conditioned rooms was a Godsend given the high temperatures.
The Scandic hotel in Antwerp is a fairly well located hotel, the staff are wonderful and the bathrooms have good showers.
Breakfast on average, swimming pool slightly cosy, restaurant definitely expensive considering food and the fact that in Antwerp you have a large choice of better option.
The bar and restaurant are worth a visit too.
Location is good for business as you are behind the ring of Antwerp, restaurant is expensive food is of a high quality portions are small and free use of facilities - excellent services.
Best of all is the buffet breakfast; a fantastic variety of hot and cold quality food.
The hotel serves good breakfast and excellent services.
The staff are wonderful, always smiling and ready to give the best service.
Nice view of the Antwerp skyline from just off the Ring Road, hotel amenities are good enough and the long serving staff.
The premises was well looked after and staff throughout were very pleasant and helpful.
Additionally staff are alway friendly and helpfull, swimming pool are great for relaxing in.
There is a small fitness room and swimming pool which are great for relaxing in.
The hotel is easily accessible from the Antwerpen Ring motorway and there is plenty of onsite parking at the back of the hotel.
Pool - bigger than your average postage stamp type pools prevalent in most hotels nowadays.
The room was comfortable and clean, breakfast was fresh.
