Good location and room was simple and nice.

The Savoy has maybe the best location downtown, a quick walk.

One of the main assets of the hotel is its location.

The train station is only 200 meters ago and if you are travelling by car, just leave it at "Metro Parking" where the hotel has a special price (15 CHF per night).

The Savoy in Bern is located in the very heart of the city, which is convenient for getting around on foot.

We had a junior suite - large, comfortably sized bathroom, seperate toilet, large seating area.

I had a quiet room with a balcony at the back of the hotel, decorated in light and cheerful colours, and my bathroom even had a full-sized window!

The hotel is being upgraded, something that got me out of bed earlier in the morning than planned.

My single room was a little on the small side, but other rooms seem be decent size.

The bed was comfortable and the linen smelt clean.

The area is full of shops and restaurants.

English french German very clean breakfast was excellent would go back no problem.

It is a 3-minute walk from the train station in the heart of a nice area of shopping and restaurants.

The included breakfast buffet had a variety of pastries, breads, cereals and fruit as well as a selection of cold meats and cheeses.

It has two restaurants, a (less formal) grill & bbq on the terrace.

Very clean and comfortable (if a little basic) and quiet rooms, and VERY friendly and helpful staff at the front desk, etc.

The reservation was dealt with quickly and efficiently on arrival and we were helped by reception for all questions during our stay.

Overall, I would like to thank cordially the staff of the hotel who made my stay at the Savoy such a wonderful experience.

The receptionist was fully bilingual and answered most of our questions about Bern and its transportation system.

Several times during my stay I saw guest who did not want to wait for the receptionist to come back from where he or she was at the time, lean over the desk and collect their own key.

The only problem I had with this hotel is that smoking is allowed in the lobby.

However, if you are driving to the hotel, it may take you a while to figure out how to get the closest public parking and you'll find yourself carrying your luggage a bit longer than you'd want to.

The room was perfectly clean and looked pleasantly new and fresh.

The cups and cutlery were clean and the atmosphere in the breakfast room was pleasant and inviting.

The hotel room was clean, central and forgetful.

Our room, although very clean and spacious, was uninspiring.

The bathroom was quite dark, but again very clean.

Location is excellent, rooms near street are noisy at night and very Nice hotel hoewer come home late. Helpful staff at the front desk, bathroom are spacious.

One block from the train station in the old part of town, the mini-bar expensive is well stocked and toilet door lock broken.

The location is excellent, so I looked for the hotel would be comfortable and the rooms are quite spacious and clean.

Good location and really a few steps away from the central railway station. The hotel room was clean, the staff were helpful and courteous, the bed was most comfortable. Breakfast was adequate.

The noise from the street was very loud through the night, the price was far too high and the two pillows were small and thin.

Large seating area, next to the central station and very pleasant hotel and quiet. The staff were fine, our room was very big and the breakfast was exactly you would hope for in Switzerland: strong.

Near tram and good location. Small European continental hotel and friendly staff. Clean spacious rooms.

Old town and uncomfortable pillows. No free breakfast and no clear english langauge by the receptionists. Facilities generally poor.

The location is very good, the hotel staff is very friendly.

Each room has an old fashioned key that is kept in the reception desk, breakfast is also very expensive for you get chf25.
