This hotel was recommended to us by a local Granada group, and I was stunned at how posh and deluxe it was, for the price that was paid.
Compared to the prices and quality we got from London hotels, this place was a God-send, and a wonderful stay.
Although there were some cafes about five minutes away the location meant that breakfast was best taken in the hotel and at 10 euros plus IVA was good value.
This hotel is not a bad walk to the center city, and worth the price for what you get.
I found the location perfect - 's less than a 10 minute walk to the centre of town and the Hotel is verry well located.
The pool area is designed and the Hotel Carmen is much nicer & better location.
The hotel was in an excellent location, so we parked the car and walked around the City during our time there.
Taxis are cheap in Granada and lots of buses made transport very easy.

The junior suite I had reserved for the 4 of us was clean with one large bed in one room and a sofabed in the other.
The rooms were a very good size (they were suites with an extra room having a 2nd tv and a sofa).
The rooms look like they have been newly refurbished with laminated wood floors, flatscreen TVs, dark wood furniture and new bathrooms (with a decent shower and a bathtub).
The restaurant looked uninviting so for my partner's birthday dinner we opted to eat in the cafe/bar in reception.
The same goes for the bar/restaurant staff.
The bar is OK and the restaurant (I use the word loosely) is more of a canteen.
In the town, the restaurant we ate our evening meals at was called Restaurante Vera Cruz on Calle San Anton – about 10 mins walk from the hotel.

Booked this hotel through Booked.net - it is a Great hotel, really nice room and lobby and the POOL was awesome.
Walking past the 3 glass-sided elevators of this 600 room hotel before going into the wonderfully ornate lobby was impressive.
Great pool area, no driving through narrow streets of Granada and free parking available nearby.
Although they advertise wireless internet access throughout the hotel, they were well aware of the fact that it doesn't work past the ground floor.
If you do not bring your computer, you can access the internet through the television and a wireless keyboard for 7 euros for 24 hours, a fair bargain for europe.
