Great location, the very lovely Antonio Borgess gardens are nearby and also the big restaurant ''neighbourhood'' is near the hotel aswell.

Good quiet location being fairly high up the hillside and the hotel was excellent as were the staff.

Although close to the airport there were not enough flights for this to cause any disturbance.

We also used the local buses to travel around the island, very cheap.

The hotel room was massive, although no double bed there were three singles.

Comfortable bed and the meals were always very tasty.

A suggestion for the hotel would be for tea making facilities in the rooms although they do offer room service until midnight.

The bathroom had a shower over the bath, sink and bidet.

The room was spacious and nicely decorated.

But what makes it really great, is that there is a big supermarket (Modelo) near the hotel, so if you dont want to eat at the hotel, you can go there to eat and also the big restaurant ''neighbourhood'' which is near the hotel aswell.

We didnt have dinners at the hotel but ate in a different restaurant every night.

The breakfast was the usual fruit juice, fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages , bread, rolls and danish or croissants, teas and coffees.

The hotel was located up from the main town of Ponta Delgada which had good restaurants within walking distance.

The meals were always very tasty and at a reasonable price.

Near to shopping center Parque Atlantico, the staff at the reception were very pleasant and helpful, the room was well furnished.

The pool area could do with a bit of an upgrade but it was still acceptable.
