the staff were friendly and helpful
the hotel should not have the 4 star rating. the standard of the rooms is not up to standard. the lift was often not working.

Hotel staff are very very helpful. The manager even helped to fix the wheelchair.
It is not disabled friendly, the dining hall is not accessible via lift, the bathroom is not disabled friendly - it has a bath tub in fact, yet this hotel being advertised as disabled friendly. Its a distortion.

The only valuable is the good location
needs renovation, bad smell in the lobby, dirty rooms, broken glass of the shower door, heating machine out of order, not 4star hotel but 2star, misleading photos on the website (rooms photos from another hotel), they requested to prepay the total amount of the booking from the first day (days in total- 5),.

Overall it was ok, not the nicest 4 stars hotel. Breakfast wasn't that rich. Location was perfect, in the middle between old town and taksim. Star was on, good wifi connection in alm the hotel.
The toilets are small

The hotel is maximum 2 stars comparing with the other 4 stars hotels in Istanbul.there is a stench in the hotel, the room furniture is old and not clean, they are still using the old 14" TV hanging on the wall as in the old hospitals, lack of towels,no trash basket in the room, the room key is very heavy (not card),in addition to all of that when we arrived at the hotel we informed them that we will stay 4 nights and not 5 but they refused and charged us 5 nights.

Hotel is in an excellent location on Tepebasi, just opposite of the Asmalimescit street where all the nicest bars and restaurants located. Through that street, you access to Istiklal Street which is the number #1 shopping and entertainment street in Turkey. For that price and the location, not much to complain. Staff was very friendly. For that price and the location, I would stay in that hotel again.
There is not much in the room, very basic sleeping facility. Isolation in the rooom is fair but due to extreme load on the main road where the hotel is located, you may be disturbed. And, that road is running 24 hours a day. Cleaning could have been better but it may also related to the age of the hotel. Not very suitable for families. I didn't have breakfast so cannot comment on it. There are excellent locations closeby where you can have nice breakfast for under 5 Euros per person.

Me and my best friend spent a week here. The room was great: very comfortable bed, it was spacious and very clean. The bathroom is equiped with brand new sanitary fittings and really hygienic. Breakfast was simple but good: fresh bread, coffee or tea, and if you ask you can get orange juice as well. The hotel staff was amazing: so friendly and helpful. Especially the owner of the hotel Mr. Ismail supported us and gave us very helpful information about places to go, restaurants, public transportation etc. The location of the hotel is excellent. Nearby is plenty restaurants and cafes/bars. The old city is just one bridge away and you can get there easily with the tram, taxi, or just walk there. Very good hotel, and not so expensive
couldn't find an open supermarket after 11pm at night so had to do a long walk to buy some cigarettes

It's easy to walk to taxim in about 10- 15 minutes.
The hotel stinks of sewage, it overlooks an 8 lane motorway -24 hour traffic noise, difficult to sleep, the breakfast is not nice, the staff are unfriendly and dont speak basic english, the TV only shows turkish channels. The shower was broken. This is not a 4 star hotel. Dont stay here- its worth paying more and getting a decent hotel.
