This hotel was brilliant place for exploring Minamioguni, liked it and venue’s extremely helpful staff who delivered impeccable service. We were given a japanese-style room with outdoor bath upon arrival. The food provided for breakfast was good.

There was a wide array of food for breakfast, it was well presented.

The location was perfect, nestled in a serene and secluded area. The drive to the ryokan was breathtaking, with stunning views along the mountain road. The food and service were both exceptional, leaving us satisfied and content. Despite a few minor drawbacks, like the limited showering facilities and an occasional language barrier with one staff member, our overall experience at Ryokan Sanga was fantastic. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway.

Absolutely perfect location, attentive staff, FANTASTIC views of the nature. Location very close to hiking trails and other opportunities to enjoy the outdoors, restaurants, and a lovely stream. For tea or coffee visit Shiratamakko nearby. Very enjoyable overall experience.
