The inn is situated in a sociable and lively atmosphere, creating a good base for exploring nearby attractions such as Dartmoor and Gastle Drogo. Guests appreciate the helpful and happy owners, who provide good quality and selection of ale. Comfortable beds and clean bathrooms contribute to a relaxing stay. The inn also offers delicious home-cooked food, similar to what you would find at home.
Limited parking options may cause inconvenience for guests, requiring them to leave their cars in a narrow country lane.

Had a great New Year's stay with my friends. The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful countryside and nearby attractions such as Dartmoor. The room was clean and spacious, and I particularly enjoyed having a bath. The staff were incredibly accommodating, going out of their way to provide a DVD player so we could watch movies.
Like many other places, it was just two twins pushed together, leaving an annoying gap in the middle. It would have been nice to have a more comfortable sleeping arrangement.

Found a lovely country pub for a weekend break in the Dartmoor area. The kitchen and service were excellent, with a nice selection of local beers. The self-service breakfast had everything we needed to start the day. The location was perfect for visiting the attractions of Dartmoor and it was easy to park nearby.
The room was a bit noisy at night due to nearby traffic. We also missed having a TV, but the friendly atmosphere of the pub made up for it.
