Would definitely agree with the comments made by the previous reviewers regarding the inconvenient location of this hotel.

Getting into and out of Naples, Pompeii, Cuma or anywhere involves either a 20 min taxi ride (€10, or €20 if you take the "Hotel Car") or a 30 min trek to the Metro and then a 30 min train ride from the midle of nowhere to the middle of nowhere.

Actually last but one stop on Metro line (approximately half an hour from the central station), plus a further 20-30 minutes walk through a not particularly pleasant area.

The room facilities excellent and the breakfast buffet good by any standards.

These guys were tripping over themselves to be helpful - the rooms are excellently furnished, the breakfast buffet good by any standards, the free WiFi was fine - we enjoyed 4 days here, and the immediate area is pretty good by Naples standards (i.

The price was good too, the room was quite well presented.

If you have a car, this is the hotel for you; if not, be prepared to trek 30 mins in every direction to get to the nearest Metro / Restaurant / Bank etc.

The Pozzuoli / Bagnoli area is a dive with few decent restaurants and some fairly dingy streets; nothing dangerous, but nothing nice either.

The breakfast buffet good by any standards, nice dinner.

Location is good - close to the metro, the nearest train station is not a bad walk during the day and the streets are well lit.

The immediate area is pretty good by Naples standards, travelling by train is by far the best option and this hotel turned out to be a great place for a short holiday. Rooms may need a facelift in the near future.
