San Marino Plaza

The location is at the beginning of the Malacon where the pier is located.

The location can't be beat, right on the beach close to everything, and great for people watching.

The location can not be beat for this place - on the beach with a great view, and right in the heart of the beutiful old town - close to oodles of shops, stores, restaurants and bars.

Even the taxi cab drivers would stop if they saw you trying to cross the road, where else in the world would you find that.

Arrival at airport was quick and we were at the hotel within 30 minutes.

Third room was an upgrade to the best corner suites with private balconies and great ocean view (three rooms total) -- nice large bedroom aread but the kitchen area was unusable.

The room was big, with comfortable beds, nice bathroom, great air conditioning, big TV, wall safe and, best of all, a big balcony that overlooked the pool and the ocean.

The only complaints I have are the bed in the room was rock hard and the refrigerator didn’t work.

By the time I got her to the room, she could barely crawl onto her bed.

Yes, the beds are harder than your bed at home, no doubt, but let me tell you, by the time you hit the bed at nite, you will be so tired, you won't care, and the pillows really arent as bad as the reviews here say!

Food: the breakfasts and the lunches were very good but we ate out for supper almost every night because they were not very appetitizing as they were re-worked food from breakfast and lunch.

The food was ample, as we only ate breakfast and lunch there.

1 restaurant open but excellent breakfast selection.

There was a fantastic breakfast place (a Greek restaurant) across the road.

Food: I took the all inclusive(it was cheeper than room only) but only ate Breakfast in the hotel.

Service staff was ok, and room was clean, but front desk not very helpful.

The front desk staff and the doorman were especially pleasant, and very helpful.

The staff (other than the sweet concierge) were indifferent: they didn't offer a warm welcome or greeting when checking in, ignored compliants and simply had no interest in their customers who PAY THEIR SALARIES!

The service was wonderful and the staff were extremely pleasant and accommodating.

10pm which i didn't feel was appropriate, considering there wasn't a lobby bar or pool bar to drink at so you could find yourself lined up waiting to get a drink in the dinning area for awhile.

At the San Marino music was playing loudly at the main pool all day.

The people were friendly but there was a minorly aggressive woman in the lobby whose job was to book excursions and such.

The service was great and our room was clean.

The bathroom was clean and the food was adequate.

The room and hotel were spotlessly clean.

The hotel has history although renovated in 2003 - thus, it is probably two stars for rooms but everything is clean and works.

The room was clean, the buffets were better than I expected.
