Hotel San Luca Spoleto

One of the things we most appreciated about this hotel was its location as a base for exploring the area.

The location of the hotel is ideal for exploring Spoleto as it is within walking distance of all of the towns many attractions.

The location was also good - we were able to walk to the local shopping area as well as to the old historic town.

The hotel is also well based in a quiet and very silent area quite near the city centre which we coul reach on foot, while the rest of wonderful Umbria is well at hand with Assisi at only 1/2 hour by car or by train.

Excellent hotel, conveniently located between the railway station (1km) and the center of old town.

The staff is really nice as they say; the rooms, either standard or superior, were well equipped with comfy large beds, marble bathrooms with bathtub and shower, windows or balconies with a nice view.

We found our room very inviting with a large bed and a charming small balcony with a local view of the green and a modern , large, stylish bathroom.

The staff were charming, the bed was comfortable the bathroom was really long and made reservations in excellent restaurants.

The hotel was very nice--beautiful cozy lobby, large room with lovely terrace, large bathroom and tub, and a wonderful breakfast buffet with homemade cakes and fresh juice.

The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet and dark at night.

On the first morning we went to breakfast we were impressed by the spread and quality of food.

Breakfast was varied and generous and could be taken in the dining room or in the courtyard outside.

Located within the Medieval walled city of Spoleto, Hotel San Luca is within walking distance of fabulous restaurants and extraordinary shops.

It is an easy walk to many of the shops and restaurants.

The hotel does not serve dinner, but with so many good restaurants close by and with the help and knowledge given by the staff, good local food was easily found.

Federica, the front desk receptionist, was outstanding and extremely helpful in every way.

The staff member checked us into the hotel was excellent, the front desk was helpful in a variety of ways and perfume from the rose garden into our room was magnificent.

The hotel service staff was friendly and professional and on top of everything.

The service is discreet but utterly proffessional and the staff are happy to reccomend good restaurants and day trips, they are also able to cater to nearly your every whim.

My husband and I spent 3 days at the San Luca and were pleased from the minute we stepped inside the beautiful antique and book filled lobby.

Unlike the other luxury choice in town, il Gatopone, this place is easy to reach and find parking.

Other than the high price and beautiful lobby.

The rooms are nice, well appointed and clean.

Our room was large and breakfast was varied and fresh.

The breakfast room is impeccable next to the internal courtyard where the breakfast was always abundant, fresh and divine.
