    Leonardo da Vinci International Airport

    • By car: follow the signs for the A12 highway heading for Civitavecchia/Genova. Take the highway and exit at Civitavecchia sud. Follow the signs for Civitavecchia centro / Sardegna on the S.S. 1 Aurelia for about three kilometres until you reach Viale della Vittoria. From here, continue straight along the waterfront until you reach Viale Garibaldi.

    • By train: By train: take the Leonardo Express train or one of the shuttle buses to Rome Termini train station. From Rome Termini train station take the regional FR5 trains or the Intercity train to Grosseto and get off at Civitavecchia train station. Hotel San Giorgio is 300 meters from the station: take Viale della Repubblica in front of the station, turn left onto Via Crispi and then right on Viale Garibaldi. Hotel San Giorgio is 200 meters down the street.

      Very nice hotel near to the ferries for sardinia and a lovely view from the front rooms, friendly staff, satellite TV and a delightful dinner. Other good inexpensive restaurants.
