San Diego Marriott Gaslamp Quarter - 圣迭戈

Not only was this a great location in close proximity to the convention center, but it was just a great hotel!

The hotel location was excellent, close to public transportation.

With a location right next to Petco Park in the Gaslamp Quarter neighborhood, you really can't go wrong staying here.

Enjoyed close proximity to ice-cream store and Subway's (across the street).

The walk to the GasLamp was a few blocks, down Fifth street, but it was raining and those few blocks seemed far in the rain (we had sore feet too), so we took a cab to the waterfront area.

The room was really clean and inviting with lovely decor, great bathroom, lots of towels, very comfortable bed (and really nice toiletries).

The room was a little cramped, due to excessive furniture, and we had a hard time seeing the television from the bed.

As far as the room itself, it was very clean, very new, great bed and bedding -- overall extremely comfortable.

Marriott's new bedding (ala the Heavenly Bed at Westin), a beautiful marble walled bathroom and nice view of the bay and Petco Park.

The rooms were nicely decorated and in addition to our super comfortable bed, we had a great view of Petco park.

The hotel has a nice looking restaurant but we only ate breakfast there and there is a rooftop bar that seemed popular but we only looked inside.

Only ate at the restaurant once, for breakfast, the breakfast buffet was very tasty and reasonably priced.

The restaurant & bar there, Soleil@K, serves up tasty dishes in an atmosphere that screams 'California Cool' - open flame ovens in the kitchen, and a dining area & bar infused with nice warm wood touches.

Naturally our breakfast in the hotel restaurant was a little expensive but we expected as much and only ate there once.

Although pricy, rooms are nice, staff is friendly and professional, food from the restaurant is great, fitness facilities good, and the rooftop bar is a real treat.

Great rate achieved through Booked, front desk staff was kind and concierge were all very helpful and friendly.

The concierge services are fairly useless (they have no clue about anything), the restaurant kitchen _really_ suffers (but the staff tries real hard) and the staff at the ground-level bar consistently looks like they're about to have a breakdown.

Services were all around better than normal -- front desk and restaurant staff were very cheerful and helpful.

The concierge in the lobby was nowhere to be found however the front desk and bell staff were able to answer any question we had.

So even though the location, parking, non-pool could be an issue, it still is a beautiful hotel.

Therefore, crowds gather in the lobby and one or two elevators are blocked off for them.

No Pool, but a shuttle to the Marriott next to the Convention Center.

Overall the hotel was good for us, it had easy access to the Gaslamp District and PETCO Park, and the rooms were small but clean.

Clean hotel and rooms, with very attentive staff.

I had some extra time one day and observed one housekeeper clean serveral rooms close to mine.

Our room was very zen, clean, large and amenities very nice.

As we walked in to the second room, I told me husband that I felt as though I was experiencing vertigo, then it became clear as to why…The floor was completely uneven.
