Good location close to the T transit system and the Samuel Sewall Inn is HANDS DOWN the absolute best Inn.
This location was great and the room had much more character than would be the case in a modern hotel.
The location was excellent, comfort exceeded our expectations in every respect - as opposed to the eyesore New England/Colonial style often found in hotels and the building was lovely.
The Samuel Sewall Inn is in a very good location if you don't ming taking the T into Boston or if you are visiting Brookline or the Hospitals.
It's a short, one block walk to a stop on the T (Boston's subway, which is above ground at that point).
The room was attractive, the bed very comfortable.
All the staff were very friendly, the bed was was soft and comfortable, the breakfast was great too.
Rooms: Our room was beautiful and breakfast was just the right mix.
The room, a junior suite, was quite large and had a pull-out couch.

Bedding was luxurious, breakfast was accommodating.
We highly recommend staying here, as it is historic, beautifully renovated, has parking, serves a delicious breakfast and plenty of in-between snacks, has well-informed and gracious innkeepers, and is located a short walk from the Green Line "T" subway stop.
We left too early to sample the full breakfast but the granola was the best I have ever tasted and the coffee was excellent.
Good mattresses, rich breakfast and a hot choice.
The indoor dining area is a bit small, but on good weather days you can always go out on their eating patio.
The young people staff the reception are friendly and competent, the rooms are all very well furnished and clean, coffee out all day is very convenient.
Nothing was a problem; they were there to provide excellent customer service and they did.
Treats are available in the lounge area well into the evening, the Bertram Inn its sister Hotel across the road is also lovely and the staff is friendly and helpful.
The T stops at Fenway Park-Kenmore Square, great value and the staff was friendly and accomodating.
Furthermore an atmosphere that is better than home and the staff is very friendly.
The area is quiet, the Hotel is very well located for the city and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
Well situated for the conference I was attending, the decor was very nice and the staff was very helpful.
Furthermore the rooms were clean and having beverages/snack availble 24/7 was a big plus.
Great Service, clean room and the easy walks to many good restaurants.
