Lovely views of harbour and the hotel is situated in a great location.

Yes its well located in Battery Point is Hobart's most historic precinct, the hotel is in a fantastic location and plus a cool window on an angle that opens electrically.

Great location close to city and the hotel is probably good for families.

Very convenient location for sightseeing, hobart is a great town and better options are available nearby.

I would recommend Salamanca Inn to anyone for it's fantastic location and hospitality.

We stayed here for 4 nights in a one bed hotel room which was more like a small apartment/studio with kitchen and lounge area plus the sleeping area.

This is an all suite property and the rooms are large with a bedroom, living room and small but well equipped kitchen.

The "3rd bedroom" for the children was a half-partitioned doorless alcove off the living room which just fitted a double bunk bed.

The apartment consisted of a small but functional kitchenette, a poky living room with shabby furniture and not exactly 3 bedrooms.

We have just returned from a 7 night holiday in Hobart, staying in a 2 bedroom suite (Room 306) at the Salamanca Inn.

The property also has a lounge, bar and restaurant with a good and varied menu.

We ate in the Hotel's restaurant one night, and the food was very good and reasonably priced and included lots of local produce.

The room was spacious and our meal in the restaurant was excellent.

However being so close to Salamanca Place and Sandy Bay and within walking distance to the CBD, we may not have eaten at the restaurant if our accommodation package had not included a $50 restaurant voucher.

The small restaurant is good and the food is good quality.

Front desk staff were excellent, only complaint was that we weren't given the HotelClub welcome pack which we subsequently learnt we should have received.

Front desk staff were excellent, beds were supper comfy and the kitchen was well equipped.

However, while the location, car parking, pool, restaurant, free laundry availability were all positive, we were less than happy with the apartment itself.

In addition there is a small indoor pool and spa and laundry facilities on a number of floors.

The pool/spa area looks really nice, the facilities of the hotel were excellent and the staff were very easy to approach.

We had no problems with the PC although the WiFi wasn't that fast.

The major problem when we stayed was the PC access.

Clean bathroom and great Food - Excellent Chef Excellent.

The staff were excellent, the apartment was very clean.

The beds were comfortable, the restaurant was lovely and facilities were clean.

The only staff that we found friendly were the cleaners, apartment was spacious and clean.
