Hotel S'Agaro - S'agaro

When shown to my room I noticed that the wardrobe door was hanging off, there were handles missing from the chest of drawers, there was mould all around the bath and the bathroom door frame had split, presumably from flooding.

We had a room for 4 ( 2 adults and 2 kids ) which just had 4 single beds but we wanted to be in the same room as the kids so that's the way it goes.

First impressions of the hotel were good as the public rooms are fine, but dead flowers in the toilet said all was not well.

Wish I had known you could rent towels for the pool as it would have saved lots of room in our case!

I had booked a twin room for my two daughters and a double room for myself.

However, it is now the bar and the restaurant has been moved to a rather dark and cramped basement.

A very good restaurant (good for breakfast and dinner in particular).

Breakfast was fine with normal continental choice plus a couple of hot dishes.

The restaurants were fine for us and we had some nice seafood / fish meals.

Most of the 5 or 6 restaurants were closed and those that were open offered little other than a good priced meal.

The staff were fantastic, didn't speak much english but they did everything they could for you.

Some of the staff were excellent but others were consistantly surly-maybe it was the heat because it was 35 degrees most of the time.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, we had a quaint little balcony.

The hotel was very quiet when we were there but this just meant we had the pool to ourselves which was great for the kids.

Good access to the walking path around S'Agaro, except for the beautiful huge trees in the garden.

The rooms were basic with no frills but they were spotless.
