This review is based on the hotel itself, and comparing it to other hotels and motels in the area that we would pay similar money too.

Overall we would not stay at this hotel again (unless the price was really cheap).

If you get a cheap price, then the hotel may be worth considering.

Had breakfast in the hotel resturant which i agree was expensive for the price of it.

Its situated next to a lovely water fountain and great location.

The hotel has good location close to everything and presentation outside was good, parking was good lots of parking and security.

We picked this hotel because of 's central location, the staff were very nice on both check in and the room was very large.

One of the beds had a rip on the cover of the bed spread but didn't sleep with the cover on as the room was very HOT.

Got to the room and there were 2 double/maybe queen beds but no king bed.

This room consisted of 2 x queen beds in a huge room, spa bath, and balcony (complete with table and 2 chairs - this would be lovely for sitting out on a warm summer's night, but it was too cold for us to do that on this occasion).

Well furnished room, nice bar and breakfast staff were friendly and efficient.

Hotel was also running a Kid's Eat Free promotion so it was better to eat later to avoid the spectacle of enormous amounts of food being wasted, children running around the restaurant etc.

The Rydges deal at the moment is that kids stay and eat free, so we had our dinner in The Atrium restaurant.

The buffet breakfast food is of a good standard (although nothing different from any other big hotel chain breakfast), however the food is only lukewarm which spoils the flavours.

In addition restaurant - The food was very good - more than I expected, the pool was excellent.

Awesome hotel in terms of service and the front desk Staff were also very friendly.

This hotel was great value, the reception staff were very good and the room was large.

The Hotel was spotless, staff at front desk was friendly and helpful, the spa bath was great.

Great that children stay, the girl at the front desk was very professional and polite, the very kind staff gave us a discount on our room.

The spa was great in the room,and we also enjoyed the pool.

The kids loved the large indoor swimming pool, which also has a spa pool attached (although we thought this to be a little too hot and couldn't stay in it for longer than 10 minutes).

The hotel offers a swimming pool and a gym.

Great value for AUD95 per night, the staff were friendly and the room we had was clean.

This place is fine and the rooms need a good clean.

The room we had was clean, very large with good facilities.

Overall, I think this hotel needs to be refurbished and the rooms need a good clean.

Telling staff would not have been able to fix it as the hotel needs renovating and a thorough clean (especially the bathroom).

Bar area you can see from your level or bar as they have big glass windows to view and the hotel is in a good central location. Staff are fantastic, this room consisted of 2 x queen beds in a huge room and the food appeared not to be traditional Hangi. The pool is lovely.

The pool was a nice area and for a rate of NZ$120 per night I think was a good value. Overall the staff were friendly and room was comfortable. Towels were clean, the breakfast spread was nothing fancy and healthy options in the children’s menu was also excellent.

In style the apartment was old, our sheets were threadbare to the point of small holes appearing.

The location was good, the room was large by Rotorua hotel standards and the staff were not at all helpful. Bathroom was clean and the bar facility was well manned. Towel rack was rusty just cheap and food was excellent.

Handy to attractions and to the cab was very helpful. This hotel was excellent and very reasonable rate - was about $117 per night. The lobby was fine, the staff were efficient and we got sent up to a room that wasnt serviced.

The pillows were old, the one evening meal we took was very poor.

Its situated next to a lovely water fountain and great location. Good value for money and for the price I think we could have done much better. The lobby is very impressive, anyone on the staff willing to help and the rooms are very large in size.

No appropriate table for use of computer, the sheets are not fresh and atrium restaurant reminded me a little of the Pan Pacific in Malaysia.

Very good value, great service and the rooms we had was spacious. One of the best meals we had in New Zealand and the pool was very nice.

This huge hotel seemed to be processing bus tours, i didnt find the staff too friendly and rooms are very large. Furthermore the buffet breakfast food is of a good standard, pool are a great bonus.
