Good value for money mid range hotel, nice people at the reception (not all that friendly and rooms are really huge.

After four nights (for which we had prepaid) we moved to a much more pleasant hotel in the heart of the Medina, where the rooms were less than half the price of those at the Ryad Mogador Opera and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Be careful you dont get ripped off by the taxi drivers, there are three Ryad Mogador hotels in Marrakesh and one driver tried to pretend we wanted one of the others, which charged more money on our meter!

The price is reasonable for such hotel category , and finally you get that special attention.

Fab hotel in a good location and friendly staff.

200 metres away from the bus station and location was near the new city I preffered to go to in the evening.

That said it is still not a bad location.

Round 5 minutes in a taxi from to souks, hop on hop off bus tour stop.

Taxis are very cheap and can be caught instantly, and the open top, hop on/off tourist bus is very good and stops outside the hotel.

We had booked a double bed but were given twin beds.

I had to argue that our booking was for a double bed and the receptionist relunctanly changed our room.

The hotel and our room were very clean, the bed was very comfy except cooking smells sometimes came into our room which was not nice.

Each room has a fridge (which can be filled up if you ask), a TV (it has CNN & BBC, unlike some other hotels in Morocco), (obviously) beds, a desk, dresser, closet space and an electronic safe (beware, the instructions are in French).

The room lacked the little extras - no tissues, only the one roll of toilet paper (no spare) and nothing in the mini bar.

It has a buffet-style breakfast, lunch & dinner restaurant called "Bahia".

The food was fantastic, the breakfast was excellent and the dinner was very nice.

We found the breakfast quite good (a variety of cold and some hot food).

The lady cooking the pancakes had the same dirty overall all week and kitchen staff bringing food into the restaurant to replenish the buffet also had dirty white overalls.

The reception area staff were a little reserved and this might have been acceptable from the women due to their culture, but the man who exchanged currency was a bit of a miserable git!

Nice to stay for 2 or 3 days and good staff on reception.

The staff was pleasant, the concierge was very helpful and design of the room was very nice.

Most of the reception staff do have fair English though.

The outdoor pool was being repaired but there is a beautiful spa in the basement with an indoor pool (you have to pay extra for this but it's not very much).

Be prepared to pay for use of facilities except outdoor pool (which was far too cold to use at this time of year and overlooked by a massive building site) and gym.

The food was fantastic and the Spa facilities were very enjoyable following a holiday touring in Morroco before our return flight.

    Had enough little shops, this hotel was a perfect fit and staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was nice and we liked the kitchen was equipped. The food was fantastic and the Spa facilities were very enjoyable following a holiday touring in Morroco before our return flight.

    Pillow case was dirty and two dishes that were on the menu weren't available.

    Cleanliness of communal areas and in addition is just across the road from the Railway Station - another plus. Good value for money mid range hotel, nice people at the reception (not all that friendly and rooms are really huge. The buffet breakfasts are adequate rather than great.

    As the elevators are small, terrace door move very difficult and outside pool too cool to use in February.

    Location very good and the train station just across the street. Additionally overall an enjoyable stay, exceeded expectations for price paid and the magnificent Theatre Royal opposite. Some staff understands little English, the concierge was very helpful and the room was nice: big. The food was fantastic, the dinner was very nice and the spa was also great.

    A taxi ride from Djemma el-Fna square, from the view from the balcony to the snow covered atlas mountains and we loved the look of the hotel. The staff is friendly and the bathroom is good.

    A taxi ride from Djemma el-Fna square and fast to reach the main attractions of the city. The hotel is near the central train station, the staff are friendly and polite, the rooms are decorated very nicely. Some good restaurants about 10 minutes walk away.
