Great location, the hotel is very good value for money and the staff are very helpful.
The hotel (especially the second night's room) was well-worth the money and is in a great location directly across the street from the Cathedral.
Central location and a comfortable hotel of a very high standard representing very good value.
The location couldn't be better; the place is right next to the cathedral, and with easy walking distance of central Nelson with all its shops, galleries, and dining establishments.
The location is excellent and the proximity to central city means that you have access to restaurants.

Welcoming hotel in an excellent location, staff friendly and efficient, the bed - very comfortable.
The room had two items of 'Hoglund art glass' - Hoglund is an expensive (and very nice) Nelson glass blowing/sculpture studio.
Has a very large restaurant which served good evening meals and breakfast.
A good sized bar is next door to the restaurant.
The dining room was booked out so we didn't get to experience their service, there are lots of great restaurants in town and we were able to have a delightful meal.
Excellent meals from the in-house restaurant and nice recepton staff helpful.
We dined in the Oceana restaurant and the food was excellent.
Good view because the hotel is the tallest building in that area, helpful front desk staff and the rooms are very well laid out.

The hotel has a very large and imposing reception area with 2 lifts.
The outdoor pool was very basic but given that it rained for most of the 2 days we were there we did not get a chance to use it.
The swimming pool had obviously not been cleaned out for days, being full of leaves, insects and a beach ball which was definately there the previous day.
It also had a green slime round the water mark on the sides of the pool.
Staff friendly and helpful, clean new bathroom.
Staff is friendly, room is very clean and large.
Smart tidy room, great meals and the outdoor pool.
