Nice room if a little small and hot being above kitchen. Good bathroom/shower.. Excellent buffet breakfast and nice dinner if rather slow service

Poor maid service, bed not made properly nor sheets changed in 5 days

Hotel was very unique--old world with modern additions such as a brand new elevator. Restaurant served good breakfast.

Tiny second bathroom. Could have used more towels. Air-conditioning was very poor. Actually it is a cooler not a conditioner.

The hotel is on the main street in the Jewish Quarter but only 15 mins walk from the main square - an ideal location to explore. There were many evocative bars and small restaurants close by displaying old artifacts and a number had live Jewish music in the evenings which was very enjoyable. Our room - 403 - overlooked the street and had a great view also of the Castle. The breakfast at the hotel was very plentiful and the choice was great.

The young staff at the hotel were very helpful and courteous but the managers never made any effort to speak and quite frankly were quite rude. We were told at check-in we got 10% discount at the bar and restaurant but when having a couple of drinks one evening I tried to pay in cash and queried the discount to be told that I couldn't have it as their till was closed (despite many others still ordering outside). When I said I wasn't happy there was a great discussion between the embarassed young waitress and the manager on duty before eventually it was agreed. The manager in question never once spoke to us or met our eye.

Good location, though not exactly in the city center, but in a nice and quiet jewish historical area. Many restaurants right in front of the hotel on the very peaceful and cosy square. Friendly and supportive staff. Very good breakfast for 4 star place. Dont hesitate to ask for warm dishes for breakfast, but the staff will ask you anyway. 20 min walk to castle and old market square. If you travel with small children its better to drive there and park in one of teh streets next to it. There are payable parking places as well. Parking in front of the hotel can be busy but its for free. Spacious room. Triple room was big enough for three adults and one child.

20 min walk to the old market and castle, but its not a problem for most people

We stayed in the family apartment on the top floor of the hotel and could not have been happier; two good size rooms, two excellent bathrooms, very comfortable beds and fantastic views over the city to Wawel Castle. Travelling with two older boys (11 &15) the choices and quantity of food at breakfast were a big hit and set us up for a good days sightseeing. Also had a couple of evening meals in the restaurant, which were excellent quality and would highly recommend and worth the price. The staff were very attentive and helpful throughout the hotel.

We were upgraded to a suite upon arrival which was a very nice surprise. The room was beautiful! Breakfast certainly exceeded expectations - large selection at the buffet along with cooked to order eggs, sausages, etc. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly!

            No safe in the room.

Hotel location was excellent..Staff very helpful ...especially young man on service Sunday night.......I believe I was given this interior room because I was a single.....

.I did not like my room...I do not like "inside" rooms...I asked to change ...was advised I could be changed on Saturday night..that did not happen., My traveling companions were given "street side" rooms...much more enjoyable...for that reason I am somewhat disapointed....Also, on Sunday my room was minimally cleaned...Bathroom amenities not replaced...Used glass not removed/replaced...Linens not changed.....

A beautiful hotel with large, quiet rooms, fantastic ambience and wonderful location! Our room was huge, with a comfortable bed, great water pressure in a nicely designed bathroom, and a gorgeous view of Wawel Castle. The hotel's common areas (lobby, restaurant, etc) were handsomely furnished - and we appreciated the before/after photos of the building on display in the restaurant. Breakfast was included in the rate - a sumptious array with great variety, and the service was extraordinary in the restaurant. The front desk staff was wonderful - helping to arrange dinner reservations, providing tips on what to see, etc. We would absolutely stay at the Rubinstein Residence again.

I would agree with some other reviewers that the room lighting could be improved and providing in-room coffee/tea pots would be a very welcome addition.

The hotel itself is really wonderful, the staff made no effort what so ever to be even polite and that took away from the expierence... The breakfast was really nice.

Very comfortable and everyone very helpfull. The breakfast was very good.

We did not like that the bedrooms were very hot at night so it was hard to sleep. The weather when we were there was quite warm for the time of year but I feel that the temperature of rooms should be altered accordingly. The jacuzzi water was not very clean so therefore feel it should be refilled oftener.

No dislikes just a suggestion, tea making facilities! That's British for you.
