Royal Station Hotel Newcastle upon Tyne - 泰恩河畔纽卡斯尔

Situated right next to the Central Train Station and therefore a great location for travel into and around the city centre.

Surprisingly quiet considering is located next to the railway station and the location is fantastic as well.

Easy to get to by train, location could not have been better and the hotel is well situated in the heart of Newcastle city.

Just take the metro to the Central Station and chandeliers gave a wonderful Victorian feel to the hotel.

The shopping centre is just a short distance away, easy to travel to the hotel from the airport.

Our room (one of the recently refurbished), had a large bed, flat screen tv, nice furniture and a decent bathroom.

The room itself was fairly small but pleasant enough, with a big comfortable bed, standard bathroom, tv, etc.

Staff were friendly bed(we had a studio) was great bathroom very good no noise in spite of location and breakfast was very good.

Bed was comfortable and the room had a complimentary mini-bar (water, orange juice and a couple of chocolate bars.

My room was clean, TV worked, there was a mini fridge with mineral water, orange juice and club biscuits, tea and coffee facilities, hairdryer, desk, free wireless internet, the bathroom looked as if it was new.

Didn't eat at the hotel (there's a great cafe bar for breakfast on the way into the city centre!

Breakfast was served in a lovely modern looking restaurant and was a continental and cooked buffet of good standard.

I ate in the restaurant and the food was fine, nothing to write home about but nicely cooked and presented.

Breakfast is a set price - £6 Continental, £8 Full English, irrespective of the amount you eat.

I didn't have breakfast at the hotel (not included in rate).

Good location in the middel of the city, no charge was a great idea and the reception staff were very helpful we needed information.

Quiet considering the city centre location, good value and reception staff were helpful too.

Hotel was centrally located, the staff at reception was helpful and i liked the fact that the bathroom had a grab rail.

Well the reception staff seemed quite friendly, perhaps that reflects more accurately on Newcastle folk than it does on the hotel though.

There is even a Leisure Centre with pool, sauna, jacuzzi and gym.

Another big plus was the fitness suite and pool with hot spa, a beautiful way to relax and unwind right in the heart of Newcastle city centre.

On the positive side there is a leisure centre with a small gym, small pool, sauna etc.

At the appointed hour our room was ready and although a bit on the small side it was clean, tidy and perfectly acceptable.

Staff extremely efficient, clean rooms and kitKat chocolatd bar in addition to more.

The public areas and my room were spotless.
