I have no hesitation recommending this hotel, its value for money, has very friendly staff.
The on-line prices were a good value--$200 a night for a first rate hotel including breakfast and the high Singapore hotel taxes in a nice location.
I found this hotel to be good value for money at the internet rate I booked.
All in all, a very good choice for a Singapore hotel - best value for money.
The hotel is located on Scott just off Orchard so it's very close to many conveniences like shopping, food, The Coffee Bean and Tealeaf/Starbuck's location war, and the MRT.

Our room entailed a separate lounge (which is where we put the cot and rollaway bed for the children) which had a large screen TV, a lounge suite and 2 tub chairs, writing desk and coffee table and also a dining table.
The room and bathroom were very comfortable and spotless, modern fittings and furnishings, nice kingsize bed, beautiful linen and towels, flat screen tv, etc.
Good and helpful staff, comfortable accommodation, also nice for breakfast at carousel restaurant.
Had breakfast every morning in the restaurant in the lobby, very nice.
Free daily bar fridge and the breakfast was the best I have ever had anywhere.
The buffet restaurant and small bar located in the hotel were of an excellent standard and I loved the sushi in particular.
The breakfast was very extensive and enjoyable and we also had dinner in the restaurant one night which was great.

Hotel offers a small swimming pool and gym - not the best around.
Hotel also has an outdoor pool and small gym but we didn't get around to trying those out.
To use the lifts and to get back to your room from the swimming pool, you have to remember to carry your keycard with you at all times, but they do give you 2 for each room.
A great touch was the free minibar and the free wireless internet if you have a laptop.
The hotel is completely non-smoking with free wi-fi access all around the hotel for guests.
Rooms were very clean, tidy, and felt fresh and new.
