Centrally located, the 671-room hotel Royal Plaza is perhaps a bit over the top in terms of luxuries. The rooms even have heated no-steam mirrors. There is even a large outdoor pool with underground music for lounging. Some of the rooms have wireless internet access. If you have business to conduct in the area, this hotel can be a convenient choice.

Overview

Located in Mongkok in the heart of Kowloon, this five-star hotel is close to Wong Tai Sin Temple, Harbour City and the largest shopping centers in Hong Kong with over 200 shops and a large cinema.

The hotel combines fashionable design and the latest technology. It will be renovating from March 12, 2012 to May 31, 2013.

All 693 guest rooms feature large flat-screen TVs, air conditioning, coffee making facilities, mini-bars and large windows overlooking the city.

There are three restaurants and a lobby lounge.

The business center has LCD projector with installed screen, broadband line, flip chart, whiteboard, and TV/AV equipment. Available in the business center only the wireless internet costs HKD 120 per day. More than 640sqm of conference space can accommodate from 10 to 500 people.

Fitness center features a variety of fitness equipment, an aerobics room and steam rooms. There are also sauna rooms, Jacuzzi and 40m Roman-style pool.

The hotels open air swimming pool and jacuzzi were excellent, everyone of the staff were really helpful and we had no complaints. The bathroom was also very nice and the power shower was great.
