Breakfast was enjoyable, nice views, amazing location next to really interesting neighbourhoods, and walking distance to bus stops. Its personnel was absolutely courteous and hospitable, no complaints whatsoever. We stayed for trip and would happily go back again.

Booked this for our trip and it exceeded all expectations. The hotel had an excellent and incredible location a short walk from Kawaramachi. Restaurants and bakeries next door had local meals.

Had a relaxing stay for five nights, everything was excellent. All of the staff was extremely polite and outstandingly accommodating. The location was particularly good and perfect for walking around Nishiki-Tenmangu Shrine. We dined at a reasonably priced nearby restaurant with Western dishes.

We recently stayed at a wonderful hotel that provided luxurious and comfortable services. The location was perfect, situated in a central commercial area within walking distance to many activities. Besides the hotel, there was a nice French bakery to enjoy breakfast in the mornings and the neighbourhood was great. The service was exceptional and the staff always accommodated our requests. They even made a reservation for us at a local spot with great fish. we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this place to family and friends.

The breakfast was excellent quality and large, coffee and bakery - all local. The room was good-sized and beautifully designed, the location was stunning central.

The front desk staff was very helpful and proficient in English. The facilities were clean, new and luxurious. The location was great! Either a 1000 -ish yen can ride from Kyoto station (since we were sorta lost on initial arrival). Or its a 3 minute walk just straight down the block to the local subway station (Sanjo). Just walk up the block towards Starbucks from the train station and you will get to the hotel. And the down the other side of the block from the hotel is this huge mall (sorry I forget the name of it). It has one of tripadvisiors #2 rated sushi restaurants rite across the street on the ground level of the hotel. The name is something like mushashi.

No pool/hot tub to hang out with friends at but, the room bathtub was pretty awesome in itself.

Excellent location, almost all of the major tourist attraction is walkable from the hotel. Great shopping and restaurant are available around the area

Generally, really enjoyed this reasonably priced accommodation with very helpful staff at the reception desk. We had an extensive and enjoyable breakfast with the bakery and yoghurt, for instance. The location was magnificent and incredible, close to the subway line, convenient to go everywhere. We stayed for 9 nights here, loved Nakagyo Ward district.
