Royal Parc Soestduinen Hilton

The Hilton Soestduinen has a great location, comfortable and friendly hotel within close proximity to many Dutch tourist sites, the staff is always very polite.

And the Hilton Soestduinen has a great location.

Good Hilton style rooms, a great location and a super swimming pool.

You will need a car, or you will have to take taxis, since the hotel is not within walking distance of any public transport.

On weekly days it is difficult and takes a long time by car due to traffic jams, public transport took me there in the same time, although I had to take 3 trains and than the local bus.

I was quoted a bed and breakfast rate, the breakfast was fantastic, they even cooked omelettes to order, which will keep my American friends happy!

Each room has a balcony and I only had rooms looking over the also great golf course.

And I always reserve a room in the old wing, which might be a bit in need of renovation now, but where somehow I feel the rooms are a little larger and have a little more character than their more streamlined cousins in the new wing.

The room and bathroom are large and look clean, but the soap dispensers in the bathroom look quite cheap.

Very clean bathroom with plenty of towels and soft bathrobes.

Breakfast buffets with separate egg station are definitely worth the money but the restaurant can be a little unpredictable as far as other meals go.

We did not try out the restaurant, and we were too late for breakfast the next morning.

The restaurant is mediocre (lacking atmosphere in the evenings, but more like a typical breakfast room) and the dinner was also mediocre (OK but definitely not worth the money).

Breakfast is served either in the restaurant or in a very large meeting room.

The Hotel restaurant was amazing, we ate on the terrace overlooking the forest and the golf course.

We tried out the Living Well fitness area: the hotel has a rather large and nice covered and heated swimming pool and one can change into swim gear in a dedicated cabins/showers zone in the basement.

Bathroom clean, the restaurant is cosy and the Spa is one of the best I have ever been to.

The room was clean and buffet breakfast was excellent.

With this deluxe or executive room I got also complimentary snacks, sweets and fresh juice.
