This five-star hotel is a member of the Leading Hotels of the World. This hotel is located in the North coast of the island in the village of Grand-Bay.

Royal Palm is the most prestigious hotel in the Indian Ocean. The hotel’s style combines European comfort and tropical elegance.

The hotel is composed of 83 suites, of which 57 junior suites, four tropical suites, seven palm suites, three garden suites, eight senior suites, one penthouse, three presidential suites and one royal suite. They provide for different amounts of people, like two adults and one child or two children or for four adults.

The hotel has three onsite restaurants Le Bar Plage, Le Natureaty and La Goelette serving various local and international memorable dishes and drinks.

          Exceptional stay in peace and quiet, the same goes for the fresh water swimming pool, foremost exquisite French cuisine. Great gym too.

          Beach hawkers bit of annoying and the service was just lovely not too much, not too little.

          Beach/sea picture postcard perfect and the fitness centre and the spa are world class and in particular the gym the best I have ever seen. The hotel itself is fabulous and the staff are fantastically helpful. All rooms are tastefully furnished, food is fantastic.

          All suites are large, tastefully furnished and sea facing, the location of the Royal Palm is fabulous, the service everywhere, the quality of food, the helpfulness of everybody is great. Staff are excellent, smart water sport facilities and the meals are to die for as well.

          The beach is beautiful, the service is great, the beds are fantastic and the Bar the restaurants location right at the waters edge are amazing you see the sun go down. The hotel is simply excellent and everybody of the staff is friendly. All rooms have free and reasonably fast wifi, breakfast is very good.

          The sea was excellent to swim in, the pictures looked nice, the price was ok, and the location was perfect, the hotel has a significant history on the island, and was refurbished in the last few years. From the moment we arrived the service was exceptional and the room was a lovely junior suite. Food and facilities were amazing, for dinner the chef prepared our catch of the day and was the best dinner ever, the gardens were well manicured, healthy and aesthetically pleasing.
