Royal Oxford Hotel - 牛津

The location was excellent for accessing the city centre, we could only stay in Oxford for one night due to time constraints - was perfect for us as was so close to train station and the staff were very polite and helpful.

The location of the hotel is excellent if, like us, being close to the station is a priority, otherwise I'm sure better hotels would be available in the price range.

The location is optimum being very close to Oxford rail station and the hotel + rooms are clean.

Since there is no lift, they even helped carry our bags up and down upon arrival and departure which was especially nice since we had to catch a 5 AM airport bus at the nearby bus terminal.

Having arrived in Oxford at night we were glad to find the hotel was within a five minutes walk from the bus station.

The room was very clean and although it was a bit uninspired, it was ok and verything worked (hot water, bed was fine, etc).

The beds were very comfortable and the bedroom and bathroom were clean.

Good, clean, modern rooms with air conditioning and the room had a new powerful shower which was perfect (maybe this was standard throughout?

I went for breakfast in a restaurant nearby as this hotel is so central, but if they made it a bit cheaper I would have been happy to eat at the hotel.

We also enjoyed our breakfast in the restaurant, again this was to a very high standard and the wait staff were warm and welcoming.

Attached restaurant okay, but we only had continental breakfast there (included in our room rate, but not in all).

The hotel is not far from the Oxford sightseeing places, nice size room and restaurant attached is ok- had good meal.

Rooms smelled old, the food at the CoCo Bar was very nice and my dinner in the Cafe Coco was excellent.

Friendly service pleasant room good breakfast central position and a very warm welcome by the staff in reception.

A lift (elevator) was not avaialable which was really only a problem when we checked in and checked out and needed to carry our luggage.

In addition, there is no elevator, so we had to haul our luggage up the stairs - a minor inconvenience that caused only the loss of a few spare calories.

No elevators we could find, so walk to second floor was a bit arduous with our luggage.

Comfortable hotel we have come across, free wireless internet is a plus and close to facilities & tourist sights.

There was a free, extremely stable wireless connection throughout the hotel.

Very clean bathroom and loved the restaurant.

Staff were very efficient and the room was clean.

Rooms were very clean, and mine was especially spacious.
