Hotel metropole superb, good value, a nice colonial building well restored and the staff were generally quite friendly. Bed was very comfy and restaurant was excellent and had a lovely evening alfresco dining option.

The hotel service was fine, the entire staff were friendly , helpful and unobtrusive, we upgraded to the Maharaja suites and was definately worth. The food was good.
