However, the location is great if you want peace and quiet, nothing at all to do outside the hotel as Skanes is just a strip of beachfront developed with a few hotels, no centre or village square etc.

The drive to the hotel was rather long (about 1hr 50 mins) and the location just beside hotel was not picturesque at all, you drove through what was like an industrial estate!

Also the location of the hotel was not explained to us but it is far from anywhere and if you want to go sightseeing you have to go by taxi which is quite reasonably priced.

We found that it was a good central location for the places we wanted to visit and so used all the different types of transport available (including louages which are local shared mini bus taxis).

There's nowhere to walk to from the hotel, you'd have to take a taxi or bus to nearest town but we were only there for a week and with 2 young children we just wanted to chill out and they wanted to relax.

For the money we paid was by far one of the best holidays we have ever been on, the room was designed in a traditional Moorish style - the base of the bed was stone and all the staff were kind.

We stayed in a double bed room which were cleaned and refreshed every day.

The rooms are really nice with excellent air con and the cleaners are in everyday with new towels and bedding.

Outdoor pool are charged for at 2td for the bed + 1td for the matress per day deck chairs are free.

The food in the buffet restaurant is ok, there is plenty of choice.

The food is bland, repetative, the first few days were nice, but they seem to repeat everything, breakfast is eggs,eggs in many forms.
