Quite simply the best location in Edinburgh right in the heart of the Royal Mile. A bit noisy in the lounge area at night but if you want this location its a small sacrifice. A really spacious apartment, could easily sleep 4 !! Great kittchen...... Highly recommended.

location was excellent, and decoration/amenities in the suite were very comfortable. It was just as advertised, and a perfect solution for our weekend visiting our daughter at Uni.
Front bedroom was very noisy from party-ers on the street until 5am. If the windows could be double glazed, that might help, although during the summer months that may not be practical. Back bedroom was absolutely silent.

Finding the hotel entrance closed without a reception was a supprise. The reception is located 200 m from the hotel in a backpackers hostel (sublet ?). Once registered one have to move back to the hotel, and than another suppprise, no elevator. So I found myself climbing to the fifth floor with my suitcases. Breakfsat canbe served in a nearby coffee which was closed at 8:00AM. The good news is that the appartment is nice, comfortable with great views.
No elevator, no reception

Very good location. The apartment faces Royal Mile. Kitchen facilities are really new and enough for cooking by ourselves. They arranged a lower room because we stayed with a baby. There is no lift, but we can carry our pushchair to the room by stairs.

Fantastic location!
Not cleaned daily. Shower products not replaced daily. No obvious fire exit/ directions. No great problems for ourselves, but should have been warned of 92 steps upto room!

Fabulous location in Edinburgh. Right in the middle of the royal mile. So lots to do and very easy to get around. The apartment was huge. Lots of space. Had everything you'd need for a week+ stay. Very comfy. Very recommendable. I'll certainly be back!! Not really a 'didn't like' but since it is on the royal mile there is noise until late. It was never a problem and the back bedroom was quiet. If you want dead quiet this isn't the place to stay. If you enjoy people watching and being close to city action this is perfect! Also the stairs are steep and narrow! No lift/elevator so know your limits and ask for a lower level room.
