Royal British Hotel Edinburgh - 爱丁堡

This hotel has the perfect location to be in edinburgh, just across from princes mall, right by waverly train station, close to the castle, a short walk to the royal mile and haymarket.

You couldn't ask for a better location, right on Princes Street, close to everything.

Excellent central location and good hotel.

The location was ideal, right on 'Princes Street' shops literally on the doorstep, opposite Waverly station & a good choice of buses across the road, if coming from the airport, the link bus No.

The location was excellent across the street from Waverly train station, a few mins walk from all bus stops including the stop that services the airport and a few mins walk from all the main shops and Princess Street gardens.

Our room was a mini suite which has a small lounge area a bathroom and a bedroom with two single beds which connected to make a double.

The room I had had two single beds and was large by European standards, the bathroom was HUGE, nearly the size of the bedroom plus, so if you were normaly cramped with suitcases etc, you could have stored them easily in the bathroom.

We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of July, a triple room with 3 single beds, was more than adequate for our needs (2 Adults, 1Teenager), the beds were comfortable & the room clean, bathroom a fair size, with lovely hot water!

When we arrived in our room, the TV didn't work, there was one tea-cup( for a two bed room!

The service was fantastic, we had a massive room (with a King size bed) overlooking princes street and the old town.

Besides breakfast the food in the hotel isnt great but on the grassmarket there are some really nice pubs that do realy good bar food.

Late night reletavly cheap bar, good breakfast and the Royal British filled needs well.

The lobby has a warm feel to it and the bar and restaurant have fantastic views over Prince's Street towards the castle.

Nicely furnished double room, the bar is very pleasant and a couple other restaurants.

Reception and bar, restaurant pleasent enough.

Really nice staff & excellent location, friendly welcome from the Reception desk and good maid service.

Staff were lovely, receptionist was exceptionally helpful and friendly, the room was very clean.

The parking ‘discount’ the hotel claim to offer was an insignificant 20% off the standard NCP car parking charges.

Whole place could use a face-lift, or at least a new coat of paint.

If guests require an elevator, as we did, be aware that it doesn't go to the upper floors.

Beware of using the phone and wireless internet at the hotel.

Wireless internet access was free and fast.

The staff were more than helpful; my room was clean and had a nice view out onto Princes Mall; the hotel itself could not be better situated in Edinburgh.

The room was clean, the breakfast was fine.

Although the bathroom was extremely clean, there was a smell that was similar to "damp umberellas"!

The decor in the room was old but very clean and the room was fantasticly quiet.

The rooms were clean and comfortably but on the small size.
